Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Operating Room RN Circulator to join the surgical team. The RN will provide safe, comprehensive patient care in the operating room while working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals. Requirements Active Florida RN license 2 years of OR experience BLS and ACLS required Cerner experience required CNOR preferred Strong experience in multiple surgical specialties, including: Orthopedics Neuro Robotics ENT General Surgery Urology Vascular Gynecology Key Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care according to AORN standards, hospital policies, and applicable regulations. Anticipate and plan for patient needs throughout the surgical procedure. Ensure necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment are available for surgical cases. Support timely and efficient case flow. Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, surgical staff, patients, and families. Update physician preference cards as needed. Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases when required. Supervise personnel involved in patient care. Demonstrate strong critical-thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership skills. Additional Requirements Travelers may be required to float between campuses as needed. AHCA fingerprinting is required for all Florida travelers before the start date. Candidates must be flexible with the assigned schedule and campus requirements. Call may be required.
