Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000 base + uncapped commission

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday

This is a relationship-driven, territory-building role for someone who understands how private pay home care is actually won. You will be in the field working with hospitals, senior living communities, and care teams to identify individuals discharging home who need support and position Legacy Home Care as the provider families trust. While competitors like Home Instead, Visiting Angels, and other private duty providers often compete on availability and brand familiarity, this role is about becoming the go-to resource through trust, visibility, and long-term relationship building . Earnings potential and long-term upside:

• Base salary provides stability while you build referral relationships that can produce over time.
  
• Historical commission earnings have ranged from approximately $16,000 to $83,000+ annually depending on ramp, activity, and territory production.
  
• A dedicated Legacy-focused producer should have the ability to build toward $100,000+ in commission potential as the book matures.
  
• Private pay relationships often compound because strong referral sources can continue producing business for months or years.

What you will be driving:

• Building referral relationships with social workers, case managers, discharge planners, senior living leaders, and community partners.
  
• Identifying families who may need private pay care following hospitalization, rehab, surgery, or functional decline.
  
• Educating referral sources and families on private duty care options, service flexibility, and how Legacy can support safe transitions home.
  
• Creating a repeatable referral process through consistent outreach, thoughtful follow-up, and reliable service.
  
• Attending networking events, community meetings, and partner visits to increase brand visibility.
  
• Managing long-cycle opportunities where the payoff may come weeks or months after the first conversation.
  
• Tracking activity, lead sources, referral outcomes, and client conversion.
  

 

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
  
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, DME, private pay home care, senior living, hospice, or healthcare business development experience preferred.
  
• A true hunter who can build business without waiting for inbound leads.
  
• Strong ability to build trust quickly with families, referral partners, and decision-makers.
  
• Proven examples of prospecting, networking, and turning cold relationships into revenue.
  
• Excellent communication skills in person, by phone, and in writing.
  
• Comfort working independently in the field while staying accountable to metrics and outcomes.
