Accounting Associate

To support a growing ecommerce business, the full-time remote Accounting Associate will manage financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and assist with budgeting and forecasting while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities: Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and lead month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and conduct variance analysis to identify performance drivers Collaborate on annual budgets and rolling forecasts, monitoring budget performance against actual results Required qualifications: 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in Accounting Proficiency in ERP software; expertise in Xero is a plus Experience with Public Accounting or in tech/high growth companies Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Advanced data analysis skills using Excel, including pivot tables and formulas
