Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities Develop end-to-end UI and API test automation (e.g., Playwright, WebDriverIO, Karate, BDD Framework), validating critical user journeys, cross-browser behavior, and RESTful services. Prepare test strategy, test plans, and test-bed setup outlining scenarios, success criteria, and edge‑case validations, including cross-browser and cross-environment execution. Perform SRE responsibilities — configure and validate APIs on monitoring dashboards, define SLAs with engineering teams, and enable service‑health tracking, early failure detection, and faster resolution. Execute chaos and resilience testing in collaboration with service owners — intentionally degrade dependent services and validate graceful degradation, error handling, and resilient UI behavior under failure. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) automating test execution, regression runs, and pull‑request validation to enable shift‑left testing. Build and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks as durable engineering artifacts, adapted across future deployments to reduce manual effort. Own end-to-end defect management and quality governance for internal and vendor/partner testing — JIRA tracking, prioritization, and serving as a deployment‑quality gate. Coordinate stakeholder communication across internal and external partner teams — proactively reporting status, risks, and resolutions.
