Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is now seeking to fill full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) positions. $10,000 sign on bonus

Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide care for patients with a variety of behavioral health disorders whose ages range from adolescent through geriatric. The LPN/LVN is an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The LPN/LVN implements therapeutic interventions developed by the treatment team and tracks patient progress towards treatment plan goals.

Includes, but is not limited to:

• Provides direct care to patients on assigned unit.
• Administers and documents prescribed medications and treatments.
• Establishes therapeutic rapport with the patient, provides support and utilizes approved crisis intervention techniques.

Available Schedules:

• Day: 7:00am to 7:30pm
• Night: 7:00pm to 7:30am

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited college of nursing.
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience preferred, but not required. New Graduates accepted.
• Age-Specific Competencies: Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric
• Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of South Carolina. CPR/CPI Certification Required – provided upon hire
