Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgeries: ortho, spine, joint replacement, ENT, urology, vascular, and more
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
• Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to changes promptly
• Accurately document all care using Meditech system
• Participate in on-call rotation as required

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or compact state
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with ortho, spine, and joint replacement surgeries
• Ability to scrub and circulate proficiently across all service lines
• PALS and CNOR certification preferred
• Charge nurse experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Meditech documentation
• Strong critical thinking and multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptable to fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of surgical asepsis and sterile technique
