Chef With American Breakfast Experience
Primary Staffing is seeking an experienced Chef with American Breakfast experience to join a well-established restaurant and steakhouse operation in Hanover Park, IL. This position is ideal for an experienced culinary professional who can prepare high-quality dishes, maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation, and work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen. The ideal candidate will have previous Chef experience, strong knowledge of American-style breakfast preparation, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards.
- Prepare American-style breakfast dishes using proper cooking techniques.
- Ensure consistent food quality, preparation, and presentation.
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen stations.
- Monitor food quality and follow proper food-handling procedures.
- Support kitchen operations during high-volume service periods.
- Assist with proper ingredient usage and inventory awareness.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain efficient operations.
Requirements
- Previous Chef experience required.
- American Breakfast cooking experience required.
- High-volume kitchen experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food quality, and timing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
Schedule
- Monday Tuesday: 4:00 PM 11:00 PM
- Wednesday: Closed
- Thursday Sunday: 12:00 PM 11:00 PM
Dress Code
- Black shirt.
- Additional kitchen-safe attire as required.
Compensation
$15.00 $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
