Military encouraged to apply. Job Description The purpose of this job is to provide maintenance for employee housing while ensuring compliance with state rules and regulations. Essential Functions: Inspect multiple housing units following a comprehensive facility maintenance checklist; perform preventative maintenance repairs Respond to maintenance work orders; troubleshoot and perform minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing services Collaborate with tenants to review and resolve open maintenance issues Maintain communication with dispatch; report steps taken for work order resolution Respond to corporate project requests; resolve issues and report findings to supervisors Communicate with multiple teams and management on a weekly or monthly basis to ensure compliance and consistency regarding housing projects Advise managers of maintenance concerns and ensure creation of workorder requests Utilize various computer systems to track and report maintenance requests Participate in company sponsored safety training classes Maintain own technical knowledge on all equipment within area of responsibility Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent certificate required Trade or vocational school preferred Valid state driver's license and clean driving record required Minimum five years' preventive or apartment maintenance experience required Prior experience with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems preferred Additional Information This position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
