Electrical Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)

Pay: $25-$35/hour, based on experience. Shift Differential: Additional 15% for night shift + Bonus Eligibility

Schedule: Night Shift: 2-2-3 style schedule | 6 PM-6 AM

Location: Dayton, OH

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support equipment, facility systems, and electrical systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

Perform preventative maintenance on facility and production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
Respond to equipment alarms, breakdowns, and maintenance requests
Work with electrical systems up to 480V
Troubleshoot motors, pumps, fans, blowers, and other equipment
Work with PLC-controlled equipment, wiring, and electrical components
Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and circuit testers
Monitor facility utilities and electrical distribution systems
Identify equipment problems and determine root causes
Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and repair documentation
Update maintenance procedures and equipment documentation
Support contractors working onsite
Assist with small facility improvement projects
Follow OSHA, safety, cGMP, GDP, and FDA requirements
Support overtime or additional coverage when needed

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1+ years of maintenance experience
Hands-on electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting experience
Understanding of 480V electrical systems or lower
Experience with electrical test equipment
Knowledge of PLCs, wiring, motor controls, and automation systems
Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, or engineering documents

Nice to Have

Technical degree, certification, or trade school experience
Pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing experience
Experience with cGMP/FDA-regulated environments
Pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment experience
