Veterinary Technician

We are a shelter-based clinic in Georgetown, South Carolina, focused on high-volume spay/neuter services as well as a small public community clinic. Our mission is rooted in animal welfare—preventing suffering, providing a safe haven for animals in need, and supporting the rehabilitation, care, and adoption of hundreds of animals each year. What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) Paid time off and holidays Employee pet discount Consistent, desirable schedule What You’ll Do Provide basic animal care, including safe handling and restraint Administer vaccinations and medications Draw blood and run in-house lab work (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal tests) Take radiographs (X-rays) Place IV catheters and administer fluids Monitor patients under anesthesia Prepare surgical packs and assist with procedures Maintain accurate medical records and notes Support clients with professionalism and compassion What We’re Looking For Previous veterinary or surgical experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate!)
