Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest service, staff leadership, cleanliness and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, accountability, and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 30 years of age or older.
• High school diploma required; college education or hospitality-related studies preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of restaurant management experience (Front of House Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role).
• Bilingual English and Spanish
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to professionally and effectively resolve guest concerns and complaints.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Knowledge of POS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 5 hours) and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and increase restaurant sales through strong leadership, service standards, upselling and team performance.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening as a condition of employment.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal health, safety, labor, and alcohol service regulations.
• Oversee daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth and efficient service flow.
• Lead, train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure all servers actively promote menu items, daily specials, beverages, desserts, and add-on sales opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, standards, and training programs.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Manage cash handling procedures, POS transactions, deposits, and daily reconciliations.
• Prepare and manage employee schedules based on business needs while controlling labor costs.
• Monitor inventory levels, receiving procedures, product handling, and loss prevention practices.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, disciplinary actions, and termination decisions.
• Prepare operational reports, schedules, documentation, and administrative paperwork accurately and on time.
• Support restaurant marketing initiatives, community outreach, promotions, and special events to increase sales and guest traffic.
• Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
