Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated and mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/troubleshoot equipment issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain automated systems , including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic equipment

• Install, repair, and calibrate industrial equipment and instrumentation

• Conduct quality checks and assist in developing or updating standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Maintain accurate documentation and update records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

• Respond to emergency repairs and perform scheduled maintenance tasks

• Manage inventory of parts, tools, and maintenance materials to ensure readiness

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment , adhering to all safety regulations

• Operate equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in:

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Mechanical systems

• Hydraulics and pneumatics

• Industrial robotics

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and automation systems

• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

• Hands-on experience with hand and power tools

• Minimum:

• 2+ years of PLC/HMI experience

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience

• Experience working with robotic systems

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs

• Must provide a basic personal toolset

Work Environment

• Non-climate-controlled industrial setting

• Team-oriented environment with 6 maintenance technicians

• Dress code: jeans, t-shirt, steel-toed boots (PPE provided)

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

This is a Permanent position based out of Fairfield, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $68000.00/yr.

401 k pto paid holidays climate controlled
