Job Title

Endoscopy Technician – Travel Contract

Location

Portsmouth, NH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with on-call coverage weekday evenings (5:30 PM–7:00 AM) and expected 24-hour call coverage on weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, BARRX ablations, bronchoscopies, Bravo placements, HET, TIF, EBUS, and EUS
• Perform endoscope reprocessing, including leak testing and high-level disinfection using Olympus, Steris, Conmed, ERBE, and Boston Scientific equipment
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios during procedures and support 1:3 ratios in pre/post care areas across a 9-bed unit with 4 procedure rooms
• Document patient care accurately using the Expanse Provation documentation system
• Float to the main OR Sterile Processing Department when procedural volume is low
• Maintain current BLS certification and CFER (Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor) certification throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician in a hospital setting
• Active BLS certification required
• CFER (Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor) certification required
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on skills in endoscope reprocessing, including leak testing and use of medivators
• Familiarity with Olympus endoscopes and related equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a broad range of endoscopic procedures including colon, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and EUS
• Prior experience working within HCA facility policies and protocols
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with rotating call responsibilities
