A Registered Nurse on this unit has the opportunity to truly get to know their patients and families and be involved in the continuum of care as we treat many chronic conditions./pp8 West is a 24-bed pulmonary unit that cares for patients diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, bronchiolitis, asthma, pneumonia, obstructive sleep apnea, and respiratory distress. Patients vary in acuity from acute to progressive care. The pulmonary multidisciplinary team consists of a fantastic group of nurses, physicians, case managers, social workers, patient care assistants, unit secretaries, and respiratory therapists.
