Corporate Event Planner

Overview The Event Planner will work effectively with Business Unit Leadership, Marketing, and Sales to execute numerous customer and employee events and incentive trips throughout the year, including the North American Sales meeting, three large customer conferences (Lennox LIVE), three high‑end incentive trips (Dave Lennox Awards, Circle of Excellence, and Master Council), several large customer incentive trips and other smaller internal employee meetings. Key Responsibilities Program Owner: Deliver outstanding experiences on Lennox programs, ensuring alignment between company and customer goals and objectives. Build strong relationships within the marketing and sales teams and other key cross‑functional teams. Strategy: Participate in strategic planning for key meetings and conferences, including identifying stakeholders, facilitating meetings, and ensuring strategic direction meets company objectives. Interact with senior management and/or major customers; negotiate or influence customers or senior leaders. Oversee event/meeting content design and logistical infrastructure to ensure participation aligns with business objectives. Execute a strategy that delivers on customer experience, within allocated budget, and on time. Execution: Assist with logistical efforts for meetings, conferences, and incentive travel, including RFPs, site inspections, contract negotiation, registration, housing, meeting room arrangements, hotel specifications, vendor management, food and beverage, audiovisual, transportation, and budget management. Set, communicate, and maintain timelines and priorities for every project. Create customized registration websites and electronic communication. Oversee post‑evaluation of meetings and provide analysis to key leadership for future programmatic improvements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1–3 years of experience preferred. Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including weekends. Experience with Cvent preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within event planning. Proven ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously. Strong orientation to detail and accuracy; ability to multitask and prioritize activities. Compensation & Benefits This is a salaried exempt role with a starting salary range of $60,000–$78,750 annually. Employees are eligible for annual bonuses in accordance with the company's plan. Benefits include tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short‑term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long‑term disability insurance. New employees also receive up to 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well‑being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year, subject to eligibility and hire date.
