Job Summary The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for supporting the Director of Pharmacy in managing the pharmacy clinical operations. This includes implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures, supervision and training of staff, quality assurance and regulatory compliance. The Clinical Pharmacist shall also assist in managing the pharmacy when the Pharmacy Director is unavailable. Key Responsibilities Implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures related to pharmacy clinical operations. Supervision and training of pharmacy staff. Quality assurance and regulatory compliance oversight. Assisting in pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Director. Education & Skills B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy. A Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy is preferred. Experience Minimum 1 year as a Clinical Pharmacist in a hospital setting or completion of a hospital PGY1 or pharmacy specialty residency or fellowship. Licenses, Registrations and Certifications Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy. ACPE accredited IV certification.
