Direct - School-based Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Lincoln Douglas Elementary School, Freeport, IL
- Assignment Dates: Start ASAP - June 7, 2027
- Target Population: Pediatric, elementary school-aged children
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educational staff for evaluations and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records/documentation
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings
- Engage in ongoing professional development
Preferred Experience:
- Previous fieldwork or experience in pediatrics or school-based settings
- Experience working with children in therapeutic environments
- Familiarity with EMR or IEP online documentation systems
- New graduates (CFs) welcome to apply
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL) required
- Illinois state license through IDFPR required
