Summary The Computer Aided Dispatch Administrator is responsible for executing large, complex information technology project work, from the planning phase through project close-out. This person will be tasked with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting applications in the Public Safety industry, specifically, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Systems (RMS), and Mobile systems supporting Law Enforcement, Fire Protection Services, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). This is a technical role that requires in-depth knowledge of and experience in software delivery and implementation.

• A competitive salary range: $110,000 - $150,000/year
• Base salary may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonuses or commissions.

General Responsibilities

• Works as part of a team that implements public safety software solutions, including:
• Installation of software
• Configuration workshops and implementation
• Functional requirements definition
• Testing
• Training
• Troubleshooting
• Ensure quality standards and proper compliance with client rules and regulations
• Building and maintaining quality relationships with client and end-user resources

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience working within or consulting Public Safety Organizations
• Proven working experience implementing, configuring, or managing CAD, Mobile, or RMS systems
• Travel as required, estimated at 25% - 50% - this ebbs and flows with each project.
• Intermediate/Advanced experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint)
• Subject matter expert in CAD, RMS, Mobile, and other public safety systems
• Intermediate IT knowledge including database management, networking, and virtualization
• Knowledge and understanding of how software projects are delivered
• Ability to connect and maintain strong relationships with the project team and client
• Must be able to gain CJIS certification or pass background checks per client requirements

Nice to have's:

• Experience with or knowledge of Geographic Information Systems
• Basic understanding of cloud technology
• Knowledge of Hexagon's OnCall or I/CAD products a plus
