At Drive Shack, great food, good vibes, and friendly competition come together for an unforgettable time.Job Purpose: The Line Cook is responsible for preparing menu items according to company recipes and presentation standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and speed of service. This role includes setting up and stocking stations, maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace, and supporting the kitchen team in delivering an exceptional guest experience.Responsibilities:Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping, portioning, mixing, and measuringSet up and stock stations with necessary supplies before each shiftCook menu items accurately and efficiently according to recipes and presentation standardsMaintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout serviceLabel and store all food products properly after each shiftFollow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesAssist with training new kitchen team members as requestedCommunicate equipment or supply needs to management promptlyPerform other duties as requested by managementQualifications:Previous culinary experience in a high-volume environment preferred; multi-station experience a plusStrong understanding of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and physically demanding environmentExcellent teamwork, communication, and time management skillsSafe Food Handler certification preferredWorking Conditions:Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and wet surfacesRequires standing and walking for extended periodsMust be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionallyFrequent handwashing and use of gloves requiredSchedule includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays as neededDrive Shack is committed to equal opportunity in the workplace, preventing discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct, based on legally protected diversity characteristics (such as race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family status, citizenship, genetic information and veteran status) in its application and hiring processes and in its employment decisions.
