Diagnostic Radiologist (Hybrid On-Site, Light IR) – Full-Time | Georgia (Community-Based Hospital)

A progressive, community-focused regional health system in Georgia is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist to join an established imaging team. This is a permanent employed role offering a hybrid on-site schedule, light IR procedures, modern technology, and a highly competitive compensation structure.

Position Overview

• Full-time Diagnostic Radiologist
\n
• Must be willing to work a hybrid, on-site role
\n
• Must be comfortable performing light IR procedures
\n
• Join a stable team of two board-certified diagnostic radiologists and one interventional radiologist
\n
• Ideal candidate is a general radiologist proficient in mammography
\n
• On-site schedule: 3 weeks on / 1 week off
\n
\n
• Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
\n
• Opportunity to work evenings/weekends for extra pay
\n
\n
• 12 weeks of vacation per year
\n
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
\n

• All routine X-ray exams (chest, abdomen, extremities, spine, etc.)

• Fluoro exams: Ba swallow, modified Ba swallow, UGI, SBFT, BE, PEG confirmations, chest with fluoro

• CT: all CT exams + CT-guided biopsies
\n
• MRI: all MR exams (no MR-guided biopsies)
\n
• Mammography: screening, diagnostic, biopsies, SAVI placement
\n
• Ultrasound: all US exams including biopsies
\n
• DEXA

Requirements

\n

\n
• Completion or upcoming completion of a radiology residency or fellowship
\n
• Board-certified or board-eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years if eligible)
\n
• Proficiency in mammography
\n
• Comfortable with light IR procedures
\n
• Georgia medical license or eligibility via Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
\n
