Registered Nurse Inpatient Peds/PICU

Sinai Hospital‘s integrated children‘s service gives RNs cross-unit experience across the full continuum of a child‘s care, from a 20-bed inpatient pediatric unit with hematology and oncology patients to a 6-bed PICU. The Tiered Skill Acquisition Model (TSAM) lets nurses build pediatric expertise at a steady, supported pace while practicing at the top of their license. The team partners closely with Child Life Specialists to deliver family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric and critical-care patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate and support patients‘ families throughout hospitalization and discharge.

Qualifications

Education: Associate‘s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN Inpatient Peds or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience required.

Licensure: Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.

Certifications:

BLS - American Heart Association required

PALS required within 6 months of hire

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
