Responsibilities Committed to care, our EKG-EEG technician can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion. Join a team in a fast-paced hospital and conduct appropriate EKG-EEG tests ordered. Preferred Criteria High School graduate or equivalent Some laboratory training and EKG/EEG experience Ability to operate all laboratory equipment and work various shifts. Ability to communicate with all hospital staff, physicians, patients, and visitors via the telephone and in person. Ability to deal with patients pleasantly to minimize trauma to patients. Must be able to function well under the normal pressures of hospital laboratory work. Possess effective communication and organizational skills. Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
