Form Tooling Changeover Technician

Picture the start of your shift: you review the day’s run plan, stage the next set of form tools, and coordinate with Polybond and Thermobond line leaders so production never misses a beat. You handle the changeovers quickly and safely, then restore order by cleaning down form tools and waterjet bucks so they’re ready for the next cycle. Between swaps, you keep every piece of tool-change equipment running smoothly and manage the loading and unloading of tools and related gear.

As needs arise, you jump into special projects and lend a hand wherever the operation benefits most. You’re the kind of professional who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and follows through until the job is done—then asks what else you can do.

• Execute timely changeovers of form tools on Polybond and Thermobond lines
• Clean, inspect, and stage form tools and waterjet bucks
• Maintain and troubleshoot tool-change equipment for peak reliability
• Load and unload tools and supporting equipment to and from storage or machines
• Support special projects and take on additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor

• A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and independence
• High energy, urgency, and a proven work ethic—always willing to go the extra mile
• Current HI Lo license or the ability to obtain one
• Comfort with basic computer use
• Commitment to exemplary housekeeping and 5S
• Lockout/Tagout training completed with no violations
• Willingness to work the hours required, including daily and weekend overtime
• Ability to remain in the role for at least 6 months before applying to other hourly production positions
• Proficiency with tool/die/mold repair and setup
