Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Strong critical thinking skills - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Capacity to handle a stressful environment Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Must adhere to Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Cares for adult medical, pulmonary, and cardiac intensive care needs. Utilizes a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2. Supported by patient care technicians and monitoring staff.
