Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) opportunity in a healthcare facility located in Petoskey, Michigan. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care for pediatric patients on a night shift, with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient safety and care. The role requires adherence to strict attendance policies and flexibility to float as needed to various areas within the facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Respiratory Therapist (RT) experience, Pediatric Respiratory Therapy experience preferred; must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (American Heart Association), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; valid state license in Michigan; flexible to float to qualified areas
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience
- Additional Information: The position includes a strict 3 strike attendance policy effective 6/1/2024. Absences or being more than 20 minutes late three times will result in immediate termination, with exceptions for communicable diseases or hospitalization supported by evidence. Travelers are required to make up any call-ins within the contract time frame, and must be able to float to all areas in which they are qualified.
