Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract in Peoria, IL, requiring a minimum of one year of nursing experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Position is in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU/ACU) setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
• Weekend shifts on a rotation basis
• Holiday shifts on a rotation basis
• May be required to float to other facilities within the Carle Health system

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temp license accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum one (1) year of ICU or relevant nursing experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include completing patient admissions assessments, developing and modifying individualized plans of care, implementing nursing interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation
• Actively participates in safety reporting, peer feedback, and ongoing professional development
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at any Carle Health location for more than one year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning
