Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00); 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period; float based on schedule

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and average daily census of 14 patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 12-hour orientation period with one pre-approved time off period available
• 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic critical care environment

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills in arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, and vasoactive drip titration
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, and continuous IV sedation
• Geographic restrictions apply to local county residents
