Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Level 1 Trauma Center, located at the St. Francis Campus. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a 39-bed Orthopedic, Spine Surgery, and Trauma Department. The role supports a variety of complex orthopedic and trauma cases, including total joint replacements, foot and ankle surgeries, amputations, back/spine surgeries, and multi-fractured trauma patients, in a Level 1 trauma center setting.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  A registered nurse will provide patient-centered care in a busy orthopedic and trauma department, supporting surgical recovery and trauma management, utilizing Cerner electronic medical records.
• Required Qualifications:
  Licensed as a registered nurse with Nursys license verification, and prior experience with Cerner EMR. Possession of relevant professional certifications and at least 0 years of experience is expected.
• Schedule:
  Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  The team includes RNs, LPNs, and Techs, with a scrubs color of Ceil Blue and White. The unit handles high-acuity orthopedic and trauma cases, including complex multi-fracture patients.
