Travel Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist - $3,023 per week

Opportunity TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in La Jolla, California. The position is for 13 weeks, requires 40 hours per week on 10‑hour days, and will be conducted at a cardiac catheterization laboratory. Responsibilities Prepare the cardiac lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock, working instruments, and sterilization, as applicable. Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures: site of entry, patient draping, arrangement of sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibration of pressure transducers and tubing. Operate and perform quality control of all equipment in the cardiac cath lab, remaining knowledgeable about all related devices. Scrub in during procedures, assisting the physician with manipulation of catheters. Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and fluoroscopic equipment. Monitor the patient’s hemodynamic status during procedures. Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Requirements At least 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent. BLS certification. ACLS certification. CCI (RCIS) or CCI‑RCIS certification, or ARRT (R) -CI preferred. State‑specific licensing when required. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
