Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Production SupervisorTSC is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor based in Huntsville, AL, to join our team in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The candidate will direct the production functions for high quality products and to achieve the business drivers of cost, quality, customer service, compliance, and delivery.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performanceEffectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meet quality and delivery expectations, minimize costs where possible, and ensure the required best working practices are maintained at all timesResponsible for plant production, meeting customer requirements, and maintaining the orderly and productive operation of planned activitiesEnsure the target productivity level is achieved on a daily basisUpdate the production plan on a daily basisCommunicate and liaise with other departmental managers regarding throughput of stock to ensure production targets are metAttend various meetings and action/communicate instructionsProduce written reports and make presentationsUndertake continuous training and developmentPerform root cause analysis and resolve problemsIdentify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as requiredEnsure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitorsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field and 8-10 years of industry experienceUS Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearancePrior supervisory experienceUnderstanding of manufacturing technologies, machinery, and production processesKnowledge of safety standards and regulationsExceptional understanding of business operations and program management recurring tasks, reports, and workflows across supporting functional areas and operational teamsPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with quality assurance protocols, ensuring products meet specifications and standardsIn-depth understanding of workplace safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards)Lean Manufacturing Certification, Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Manufacturing Technologist (CMfgT) a plusExperience outlining and executing project objectives, goals, milestones, and completionPrevious experience and knowledge with US Government compliance for timekeeping and expense reports, contract clauses, or similar governanceComfortable serving as focal point for coordinating with multiple geographically separated work centers in different time zones to achieve time sensitive deadlines for products, work plans, or deliverablesStrong attention to detail; excellent organization, planning skills, and verbal and written communicationAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment and get along with othersAbility to quickly learn new scope of work and grow with a scaling teamTSC Benefits: TSC offers a stable work environment, a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package; including ESOP contributions, 401k Matching Program, Flexible Work Schedules, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Leave and much more.Applying to TSC: Employment at TSC is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check, security investigation, and a drug screening.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
