Receiving Stores Attendant A1-Food Service-Mount Sinai Hospital-Part Time, Nights, Weekends and Holidays

Responsible for the following receiving policies and procedures for the storeroom of the Food Service Department.

• Responsible for receiving food and supplies, verifying weight, count, and quantity of merchandise.
• Handles food products according to proper food safety procedures.
• Responsible for documentation of all delivery discrepancies on vendor invoice, purchase/receiving logs.
• Accurately fills requisitions with correct quantity and products requested.
• Delivers and stores all received merchandise to the appropriate storage area. Labels and dates all items to be stored.
• Helps with daily and weekly inventories in selected areas.
• Readies all staples, cleaning supplies, and paper goods for requisition.
• Responsible for maintenance and sanitation of the receiving and storage areas, as well as care center pantries using proper chemicals and procedures.
• Responsible for closing the storage room area.
• Performs other responsibilities as required.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $27.8789 - $29.9076 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
