Location: Hudspeth Animal Hospital – Macon, Georgia
Position Type: Full-Time | Evening, Overnight & Weekend Shifts Available

???? About the Role:

You’ll be on the front lines of urgent care, assisting with emergency cases, surgical procedures, diagnostics, and critical care for cats and dogs. Whether it's late-night trauma or routine follow-ups, your compassion, technical skill, and calm under pressure will make a real impact.

???? Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Emergency patient triage and stabilization

• Assist veterinarians in surgery, diagnostics, and urgent treatments

• Monitor anesthesia and perform post-op care

• Administer IV fluids, medications, and pain management

• Perform lab work, radiographs, and basic dental cleanings

• Communicate with pet parents clearly and compassionately

• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold hospital protocols

• Mentor Veterinary Assistant Trainees & Volunteers

✅ What We're Looking For:

• 
  Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) or eligible in Georgia

• 2+ years of experience (emergency or fast-paced clinical setting preferred)

• Proficiency in animal restraint, venipuncture, surgical prep, and anesthesia

• Ability to stay calm and focused in emergency situations

• Team player with excellent communication and multitasking skills
