CDL Class B Flatbed Driver (Moffett)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class B Flatbed Driver with Moffett (piggyback forklift) experience to join our team on a temporary assignment lasting approximately 3–4 months. This position is primarily driving, with limited warehouse responsibilities.

Position Breakdown:

90% Driving
10% Warehouse Duties

Responsibilities

Safely inspect, maintain, and operate a CDL Class B flatbed truck.
Load delivery materials onto the truck and safely unload them at customer locations.
Operate a Moffett (piggyback) forklift to load and unload materials.
Deliver and pick up merchandise at warehouses, construction sites, and customer locations.
Verify orders and ensure accurate deliveries.
Complete delivery and pickup paperwork accurately.
Read work orders and perform basic math for order verification and inventory handling.
Maintain a clean driving record that meets company standards.
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class B license.
Experience operating a flatbed truck.
Experience operating a Moffett (piggyback) forklift.
Active DOT Medical Card.
Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Ability to lift, load, and unload materials in warehouse and construction site environments.
Ability to read work orders and perform basic math calculations.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

Ability to safely load and unload materials from ground level and loading platforms.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to perform the physical demands of material handling throughout the workday.
