Job Description:

Location:  Sioux Falls, SD
Job Status: Full-Time

Shift:  Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Supports a variety of Human Resources (HR) administrative processes and tasks including employee recordkeeping, recruitment and basic accommodations. Often handles sensitive employee and company information, which requires a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Assists with audits, surveys, reporting, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted partner to assist with any aspect of the employee life-cycle, including recruitment, general benefits and leave questions, onboarding or offboarding processes as well as special projects, as assigned.
• Complete HR data processing tasks as directed.
• Resolves inquiries from internal or external customers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to dedicated subject matter experts within HR.
• Initiate and monitor the administration of all employment processes to ensure that all processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
• Validate and input employee compensation data to ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of payroll services; research and resolve compensation related issues.
• Reconcile employee information when needed.
• May be asked to facilitate new hire orientation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal practices and policies are adhered to.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to utilize standard office equipment and standard software packages to support business processes.
• Study data that is collected to assist in compiling reports that will help in decision-making. Typically works with guidance.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee job responsibilities to efficiently meet objectives.
• Must be able to express ideas, request actions, formulate plans, & policies by means of clear and effective verbal communications.
• Acquire, organize, protect, and process data in order to fulfill business objectives.
• Ability to foster and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• High school degree, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1-2 year of customer service experience.
• General Human Resources experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills required. Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems experience preferred.
