Associate Inventory Manager

Associate Inventory Manager – Retail Department Role Summary The Associate Inventory Manager assists the General Manager to achieve 100% accuracy of the store’s inventory. Responsibilities include overseeing preparation and processing of product and patient transfers daily, recommending adjustments for overages and shortages, maintaining compliance with state regulations, and implementing company inventory control policies. Key Duties and Responsibilities Inventory recording, compliance, and accuracy in all phases of production. Monitor warehouse transactions, including shipping, receiving, and transfers. Ensure inventory records remain accurate at all times. Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, or monthly as needed. Conduct inventory audits with the General Manager as required. Follow written audit programs and physical inventory procedures to maintain record integrity. Log receipts and documentation to assure accurate inventory accounts. Assist in scheduling inventory and compliance personnel. Execute system adjustments and analyze root causes, initiating corrective actions. Collect, audit, and file required paperwork to ensure state compliance. Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with regulatory compliance and HIPAA guidelines. Skills and Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field. Minimum age 21 years. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with diverse personalities. Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism communicating across all levels. Capacity to understand and follow written/oral instructions. Respectful and polite interaction with customers and team members. Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Proficiency with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Well‑organized with strong management and leadership skills. Effective communication, problem‑solving, and arithmetic abilities. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening. Additional Minimum Qualifications Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday, see and hear or use prosthetics to meet job requirements, work independently with integrity, and interact with ill, disabled, elderly, or emotionally upset individuals. Must be able to push, pull, move, or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a height of 5 feet and move or carry that weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance. Physical Requirements Consistently required to move/traverse the facility, including confined spaces; accurately communicate sensitive information; manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., product, packaging, tools, office machinery); push or pull up to 50 lbs; lift or carry up to 50 lbs; ascend or descend stools, ladders, or steps; position self at floor level; occasionally maintain a seated position. Work Schedule Up to 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
