Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Indiana Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Client specifies no new graduates.
• Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, writing functional treatment plans and goals, and documenting using approved formats in compliance with regulatory and payer guidelines.
• Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and materials handling per clinic policies.
• Ability to supervise and delegate discipline-specific therapy services and to participate in student clinical education when assigned.
• Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Preferred: prior experience working in outpatient settings with a focus on return-to-community functional programs.
