About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years hospital experience License: CT license from one of the applicable states (to be obtained) Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - GE and Siemens Equipment experience - Experience with 3D rendering, including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering - Skills in performing CT scans of various regions without and with contrast - Ability to float between different facilities Description: Candidates must be willing to travel between facilities in different states. Call and weekend shifts may be required as needed by the department. Candidates must obtain state licenses for practice. Candidates may start with the license from the first state that issues it. Experience with GE Optima CT660 scanner is preferred. Familiarity with EPIC charting system is required. The position includes working with a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The facility is a trauma center with a focus on acute care. Additional interdisciplinary support teams include IV teams, physical therapy, and rapid response teams. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment. All necessary qualifications and skills must be obtained prior to employment.
