Travel Cath Lab Tech in Cambridge, MA

Bring your expertise in imaging to a challenging opportunity as a Cath Lab Tech supporting advanced patient care. In this contract position, you will play a vital role within a cardiac catheterization laboratory, providing high-quality imaging and technical support during a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.


Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist or in a similar imaging role within a hospital or clinical setting
• Certification in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; ARRT or RCIS credentials preferred
• In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, imaging standards, and vascular procedures
• Proficient in operating imaging equipment including fluoroscopy and digital angiography systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, patient safety, and infection control protocols
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare, operate, and maintain complex imaging equipment for cardiac and vascular procedures
• Assist physicians and clinical teams during diagnostic and interventional catheterization
• Monitor patient status, troubleshoot equipment, and anticipate workflow needs during procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation and archiving of acquired images and procedural data
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients before, during, and after procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed
