Overview

FTI Services is seeking an experienced and client-focused Account Manager to join our growing Managed Services team. This role is central to building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our clients, ensuring that their technology needs are understood, addressed, and strategically planned for. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for their assigned accounts, managing regular communication, guiding IT roadmaps, preparing proposals and quotes, and driving revenue growth through upselling products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Strategic Planning

• Host and manage regular meetings with clients to review current IT environments, support activities, and business objectives.
• Develop and maintain client IT roadmaps, ensuring alignment with their long-term business strategies and emerging technology needs.
• Proactively identify and communicate impending infrastructure needs, lifecycle refreshes, and potential technology upgrades.
• Quoting, Proposals & Sales Support
• Prepare detailed quotes and proposals for roadmap-driven projects, including infrastructure refreshes, application rollouts, and strategic initiatives.
• Generate timely quotes for ad-hoc hardware, software, or labor needs not covered under the Managed Services Agreement.
• Collaborate with technical teams to scope projects and ensure quotes accurately reflect required resources and deliverables.

Financial & Contract Management

• Partner with FTI Services’ accounting department to support monthly close activities for managed clients, including assisting with billing reviews and addressing invoice disputes.
• Participate in contract audits to verify correct service levels, ensure accurate billing, and confirm proper application of licensing or user count true-ups.

Growth & Revenue Expansion:

• Identify and pursue up sell opportunities within existing accounts, including new services, managed offerings, or technology solutions that add value to the client.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, advocating for technology strategies that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or similar role within the IT managed services or technology solutions space.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, managed services, cloud solutions, and hardware/software lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted client relationships with business leaders and technical stakeholders.
• Experience preparing quotes, proposals, and project estimates.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in CRM, quoting tools, and Microsoft 365.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with IT service delivery models, managed services agreements (MSAs), and ITSM best practices.
• Experience supporting financial operations, including invoicing and reconciliation processes
• Demonstrated success in up selling or cross-selling technology solutions.
