Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications, microservices, and enterprise web solutions while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.


Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Senior Java Full Stack Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale web applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
• Build and support scalable applications on AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Develop and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL development, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment processes using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and DevOps best practices.
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize application performance, security, reliability, and scalability while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in Full Stack Development, Enterprise Application Development, and Cloud-Native Solution Architecture.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API development, AWS Cloud Services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway), and Microsoft SQL Server performance tuning.
• Proven experience with Angular or React, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and building scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise applications in Agile environments.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
