Sr. Staff Accountant
Burt and Company CPAs, LLC
Responsibilities Record transactions in ledgers, prepare trial balances and simple financial statements using computer software programs. Reconcile accounts to control accounts and perform account analysis. Perform schedule computations of accruals, property and equipment, and calculate depreciation expense. Prepare payroll tax, sales or other local tax returns. Perform other accounting duties as needed in projects and assigned by supervisory personnel. Compile work papers and other accounting reports needed. Able to utilize firm software for work paper preparation. Maintain regular attendance at work during regular office hours. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English. Such other duties as may be assigned.
