Assignment Overview

As the ED Nurse Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, coordinate patient care delivery, and provide strong leadership to nursing staff—ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered emergency services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Team : Supervise, schedule, and coach staff while fostering a positive, high-performing culture
• Operational Oversight : Manage ED and Fast Track flow, staffing, and performance metrics
• Quality & Safety : Ensure compliance with clinical standards and improve patient outcomes
• Strategic Planning : Monitor budgets, forecast staffing/resource needs, and drive efficiency
• Collaboration : Partner with providers and leadership to optimize care delivery
• Performance Management : Train, evaluate, and support staff development

✅ Requirements

• Education : Bachelor’s in Nursing (Master’s preferred)
• Experience :
  • 5+ years as an RN with Emergency Department experience
  • 3+ years in a nursing leadership role
• Certifications :
  • Active RN license (state-specific or compact as applicable)
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Preferred : Flight, paramedic, or grant/program experience

Work Environment

• Combination of clinical and administrative duties
