Qualifications
- Current Active HCA (Home Care Aide) with previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Medical assistant, or similar role.
- Current negative TB test or chest X-ray to rule out TB
- Reliable transportation
- First aid and CPR-certified
- Knowledge of light housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical.
We are looking for four life enhancement caregivers who can work flexible shifts, short shifts, part-time or full-time, in Encinitas.
You will be carefully matched with the client so that your work is fun and enjoyable and pays well starting at $20/hr.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Medication reminder
- Provide companionship
- Assist with errands and shopping
- Symptom management
- Documentation
- Reporting
