Phoenix Kids Club LLC in Jonesboro, GA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Pre-K Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Pre-K developmental standards
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for early learners
- Monitor and assess each child's social, emotional, and academic development
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Implement structured daily routines including circle time, free play, and learning activities
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support whole-child development
- Maintain accurate attendance, developmental records, and classroom documentation
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Prior experience working with Pre-K or early childhood age groups strongly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children
- Ability to pass a background check as required by state childcare regulations
