As Senior Business Analyst in the Corporate application division, you would be working on some of our latest ventures to Support and Enhance cutting-edge SaaS business applications. You will be helping us with coordination, documentation, test execution, conducting POC, post-production maintenance, and support of the Oracle Cloud SaaS enterprise application production support and continuous improvement of the application landscape. This position acts as a critical liaison between the company's financial functions including Corporate Controllership, Regional Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Business Assurance, and the company's IT organization.

• Provides first-line support to users of financial applications.
• Responding to business user queries
• Providing one-on-one support, explanations, and guidance to users regarding finance operations
• Triaging data issues, process issues, and business user errors.
• Liaise with IT and business users to define and prioritize business-related issues associated with systems.
• Partner with other system owners to ensure data quality, timing, and financial reporting impacts are fully understood.

• Functional Design
• Develops functional designs for applications, integrations, and conversions.
• Ability to work on multiple functional areas and integrations with third-party products.
• Keeps up to date with industry trends and vendor capabilities to produce robust functional designs.
• Reviews functional designs and obtains signoffs with the cross-functional business and IT teams.
• Provides inputs into business processes based on design capabilities.

• Testing & Test Design
• Execute System integration testing.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing for new systems or enhancement releases. This involves assistance with the creation of test cases and follow-up to ensure users complete testing per the schedule.
• Coordinates integration testing validates test cases with stakeholders for user acceptance testing and training and obtains signoffs.
• Coordinates defects clarification, triage, and coordinate resolution with engineering teams.
• Performs Mock close on financial systems.
• Project Management
• Manages small to medium application releases and projects.
• Manages stakeholder expectations.
• Design release scope and schedule in line with a business goal, prioritization, and IT capacity
• Work with the team of analysts and leads implementing new cloud business applications for Equinix.
• System Configurations
• Configures applications in line with business goals.
• Designs forward-looking configurations by recognizing future needs aligned with the business roadmap.
• Develops configuration standards.
• Day to Day Support (Production Support)
• Supports and trains junior resources and oversees quality in triage and troubleshooting practices.
• Leads troubleshooting efforts on critical issues with cross-functional teams through the resolution.
• Identifies improvements to address repeat issues.
• Training and Change Management
• Works with functional leadership teams to set expectations and conduct planning and execution of SME training activities.
• Defines, communicates, and implements support and engagement plans
• Analyzes adoption rates and issues and assesses business case realization and proposes solutions to improve.
• Provides Adhoc training to various financial users on key financial applications.
• Vendor Management
• Manages/leads individual consulting resources as assigned.
• Participates in vendor advisory boards and user groups.
• Executes medium-scale vendor evaluations, pricing negotiations, and software acquisitions.
• Prepares management communications and gets stakeholder input for recommendations

Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Oracle Cloud GL with multi-ledger, multi-currency, and multi-GAAP.
• Have in-depth finance and accounting functional knowledge to understand business requirements and convert them into functional and configurable solutions.
• Worked as Systems Analyst or Support Analyst for Oracle fusion ERP application modules.
• Hands-on experience in designing and configuring ERP application implementation and maintenance.
• Worked in a couple of other Oracle fusion EPM application modules like BPCS, EDMCS, TRCS, ARCS, and PCMCS
• Worked on the other ERP sub-ledger modules like AP, AR, CM, PPM, and AGIS.
• Deep understanding or the end-to-end accounting transactions from sub-ledgers to GL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field.
• 6 to 10 years of experience working within the finance and accounting organization of a large multinational company.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Willingness to travel occasionally if needed.
• Preference to Accounting, computer science or mathematics related fields of study.
