Q3 Contracting is hiring dependable, safety-focused Traffic Control Flaggers and Lead Flaggers to help protect our crews and the traveling public. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in managing traffic through active construction zones and ensuring work areas remain safe, organized, and efficient.This position is based out of our Minnesota office and supports projects located throughout Wisconsin. Some overnight travel may be required.Responsibilities:Control the flow of vehicular traffic through construction zones using stop/slow paddles and 2-way radios & or AFAD devicesSet up and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, etc.)Communicate clearly with crew members and the publicRemain alert and attentive to changing traffic and work zone conditionsFollow all company safety policies and state/local traffic control regulationsReport unsafe conditions to supervisors immediatelyQualifications:Valid driver’s license and reliable transportationClean driving recordFed Med cardAbility to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and situational awarenessExcellent communication skillsMnDOT or ATSSA flagger certification preferred (in-house training available)Previous flagging experience is a plus but not requiredJob Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Stand and remain alert for extended periodsWork in heat, cold, wind, and rainAbility to travel (some overnight) throughout western, central, and northern WI.Work in heat, cold, wind, and rainBenefitsHighly competitive, union wages are paid weekly.Outstanding, paid-on-the-job training.Union benefits offerings (Determined by trade and location)Award winning safety programs.Overtime opportunities.Growth Opportunities.Compensation: $26.42/hr.
