Travel RN - ICU - Night Shift

Location: Thornton, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights: 6P - 6A

Job Description: The ICU unit is seeking an experienced Travel RN to join our team. The unit consists of two pods with a total of 28 beds, providing care for various critical conditions including neuro-surgical and trauma cases. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a supportive team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
