Associate Broker

Job Summary Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Associate Broker to join our growing team in Metairie, LA. The Associate Broker will support the clerical, administrative process, and management of a Broker’s book and assist in placement of difficult and/or complex Excess & Surplus (E&S) property risks with the goal of becoming a broker after a training period. Responsibilities Build, expand, and solidify relationships with clients at all levels and lead appropriate resources to address client needs, including risks and resolution of underwriting or policy issues. Analyze market information to develop, design, and implement creative strategies for clients. Develop and successfully acquire new business revenue from new and existing clients. Prospect sectors and market areas by identifying business needs and proposing company products and services. Retain knowledge of all markets available to maximize opportunities to negotiate placements. Service the designated book of business as it relates to marketing, administration, and sales. Monitor, identify, and develop new methods for processes and procedures. Maintain compliance with Quality Control guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Active insurance P&C state license (preferred). Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university. Sales and production driven mentality. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multi‑task. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Degree in insurance related discipline (preferred).
