Bioinformatician: Protein Discovery & Data Science

MS/PhD degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field with a focus on protein discovery/mapping. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics, such as Python, R, and Perl. Strong understanding of molecular biology and structure-function relationships. Experience with bioinformatics tools and databases for sequence analysis, molecular structure prediction, and metabolic pathway analysis (e.g., BLAST, HMMER, Pfam, PDB, KEGG). Experience with designing, building, and maintaining SQL databases Familiarity with machine learning and data mining techniques applied to biological data is desirable (SSNs, molecule docking and modeling, etc.) Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary team Self motivated and can work independently and in a team environment Passion for working in a fast paced startup environment Job Application Thank you for expressing interest in joining BioSens8.
