Full-Time PTA Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Somerville, NJ
Position: Full-Time
Hours: M–F, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $70K–$80K/year DOE + Full Benefits

Job Summary
We’re looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a private outpatient clinic with a manageable patient schedule. In this position, you will help patients work through therapy programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role includes hands-on treatment support, patient education, progress tracking, and clear communication with the clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans assigned by the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility work
• Track progress, tolerance, and treatment response
• Complete accurate clinical documentation
• Reinforce safe exercise technique and movement patterns
• Support daily clinic flow and treatment room readiness

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Active New Jersey PTA license
• Outpatient experience preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
